Prior to joining ACTT, Michael worked as a Recruiter and a Personal Services Representative for various companies, including The WorkSource, where he assisted people looking for work or for training that would lead them to work. Before returning to his native Texas in 2003, he worked for Pearson Government Solutions in Iowa City as a Technical Writer for the U.S. Department of Education. Most of his professional writing experience began in the military, writing reports and documents for the U.S. Navy Security Department.

Michael enjoys reading, writing, movies, learning languages, music, and spending time with his family and friends.
