This course teaches the fundamentals of electric motors with reciprocating and centrifugal
gas compressors. Upon completion of this course, each student will understand operating parameters
of electric motors as well as reciprocating and centrifugal compressors. Essential components,
preventive maintenance items, troubleshooting skills, and performance indicators for electric motors
and gas compressors will be reviewed.

This course is intended for personnel who operate, repair, and monitor electric motors and gas
compressors. There are no pre-requisites required to attend this class. Class size is 12-15 students.
