OPTION A: ENVIRONMENTAL GAS LEAK STUDY AND ANALYSIS

The Environmental Gas Leak Study and Analysis is a subset of the services offered in the Comprehensive Facility Evaluation. It is recommended for pilot programs or baseline emissions-testing programs, and includes the following tasks:
  • Survey all standard components under natural gas pressure for leaks, to include gate stations and other natural gas facilities as directed.
  • Survey and measure vented components (as accessible, depending on station operation)
    • Unit valves on blow down compressors
    • Blow down valves on pressurized compressors
    • Rod packings on pressured reciprocating compressors
    • Seal vents on centrifugal compressors
    • Pressure relief valves
    • Power gas vents for compressor unloaders
  • Identify and estimate costs for leak repairs
  • Calculate paybacks for leaks found
  • Prepare report
* ADDITIONAL SERVICES (FEES APPLY)
  • Count components for emission factor calculations (Environmental usage)
  • Calculate emission factors for component categories to compare with industry averages
  • Engine exhaust emissions testing
