ENVIRONMENTAL GAS LEAK STUDY AND ANALYSIS |
The Environmental Gas Leak Study and Analysis is a subset of the services offered in the Comprehensive Facility Evaluation. It is recommended for pilot programs or baseline emissions-testing programs, and includes the following tasks:
- Survey all standard components under natural gas pressure for leaks, to include gate stations and other natural gas facilities as directed.
- Survey and measure vented components (as accessible, depending on station operation)
- Unit valves on blow down compressors
- Blow down valves on pressurized compressors
- Rod packings on pressured reciprocating compressors
- Seal vents on centrifugal compressors
- Pressure relief valves
- Power gas vents for compressor unloaders
- Identify and estimate costs for leak repairs
- Calculate paybacks for leaks found
- Prepare report
|
* ADDITIONAL SERVICES (FEES APPLY)- Count components for emission factor calculations (Environmental usage)
- Calculate emission factors for component categories to compare with industry averages
- Engine exhaust emissions testing
