This
course teaches basic concepts of Operations Maintenance. Upon completion,
each student will understand fundamental concepts of reciprocating
engine and compressor operation. The student will also know general
maintenance guidelines and procedures for reciprocating equipment.
The class
modules include:
- Reciprocating
compressor fundamentals
- Compressor
and scavenging valves with practical hands-on exercise
- Compressor
unloaders and practical demonstration
- Reciprocating
engine fundamentals
- Minor reciprocating
engine maintenance and practical hands-on exercises
- Fuel valves,
starting air valves, and lifters with practical hands-on exercises
- Air filters
and exhaust systems
This
course is intended for personnel who are responsible for repair
of reciprocating equipment. There are no pre-requisites required
to attend. Class size is 8-12 students. This class is taught at
the customer's location. (16
