THE OPTIMAL BALANCE BETWEEN EFFICIENCY & LIFE

Optimize compressor efficiency and plate valve life

Schedule maintenance intervals based on predicted valve life

Determine power, efficiency, and flow

Design valves to limit unscheduled downtime

ANNOUNCEMENT

October 4, 2008

ACTT is now accepting orders for ValveLife, a new software application brought to you by the Gas Machinery Research Council (GMRC) and Southwest Research Institute (SwRI).

ValveLife allows operation managers and engineers to optimize compressor installations by determining the most effective balance between compressor efficiency and plate valve life.

Sophisticated modeling and a user-friendly interface enables end-users to input compressor geometry, operating conditions, and valve design information. Based on those values, users can then predict remaining plate valve life and view corresponding power, efficiency, and flow.

ValveLife is sponsored by the Gas Machinery
Research Council (GMRC) and was developed by
Southwest Research Institute (SwRI).
